Gita Jayanti

Gita Jayanti was observed on 30^th November,2017. Class wise Gita chanting competition was held and the group of winners from each class chanted the 17^th chapter. Teachings of Gita and its important was highlighted through a speech by a teacher.   Few video clips of the Mahabharata was screened. 

Another programme was organized in the evening for the parents from classes V to VIII. The programme started at 6.00 p.m. with prayer and bhajan session followed by chanting of the Gita for Daily life.  Importance of Gita and the message in it was conveyed to parents by a teacher and a few clips of the Mahabharata was screened. Around 60 parents were present on the occasion.

Lachit Diwas

Lachit Diwas was observed on 24^th November,2017. An Assamese Poem Recitation competition was organized among the houses. Information about characteristic traits and contribution of Bir Lachit was highlighted by a teacher in his speech. Patriotic songs were sung on the occasion. 

Sadhana Diwas

Sadhana Diwas was observed on 20^th November,2017. A teacher of the vidyalaya delivered a speech in the morning assembly highlighting the contribution and message of Sri Eknathji Ranade. Pushpanjali was offered on his portrait. 

Children’s Day

Children’s Day was observed on 14^th November,2017.  Games were conducted for each class. Teachers of the vidyalaya led the prayer, bhajans, news and thought explanation. Sweets were provided to the students.  

       

Personality Development Camp

Personality Development Camp for students of Class-VI was organized from 9th to 13th June,2017. All the activities were conducted according to the circular of Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag, Guwahati. The objective of the camp was to instill the basic qualities required for a balance growth in children. Sri Sukheswar Chetia, Retired Headmaster of Chichia Bokuloni M.V. School was the guest in the valedictory programme.  

World Environment Day

World  Environment Day was observed on 5th June 2017. Students from classes  VI to X participated in the cycle rally organized by AGBP(NEEPCO) Bokuloni.  Students of the houses presented different Power Point Presentation on different topics related to environment. A tree plantation drive was carried out by planting trees in the school campus.
