9th International Yoga Day


9th International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2023 in our vidyalaya among the teachers and students from Classes V - X as well as in the nearby localities to raise the awareness of physical and mental fitness and well-being of all. The day started with Mangalacharan. Under the guidance of Dipak Sir, teachers and students participated actively in the yoga session. A song was presented by Ranjit Sir in the mid of the session keeping in relation to the significance of the day. Thereafter Smt. Meghna Kakoty, Principal VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni, in her speech briefly mentioned about the importance of yoga and how it should be a part of our daily life. The school programme concluded at 10 am, after which the students of Classes IX and X with some teachers proceeded to community hall for yoga practice organised by NEEPCO. A group of teachers went to Chichia MV School for promoting awareness of the benefits of yoga among the students. It was systematically conducted and a good number of students and teachers participated with good spirit.

Rabha Divas

To commemorate the death anniversary of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha a short yet lively programme was organised on 20th June, within the morning school assembly, wherein Ranjit Sir presented a melodious Rabha Sangeet and Uttara Didi delivered a speech to make the students aware about the contribution of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha for the upliftment of assamese art, culture and literature.



Personality Development Camp 2023-24


PDC Camp 2023-24


 PDC Camp was organized in our Vidyalaya for Class VI from 13th June to 17th June 2023. The camp started with prayer and Shibir Geet followed by Bouddhik Satra and Bouddhik Bishleshan.

Day 1 (13-06-2023)

Bouddhik Satrawas taken by Meghna Kakoty Didi, Principal VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni on- What is personality?

Bouddhik Bishleshan was taken by Parishmita Didi- she divided the class into 6 small groups with the name of unsung heroes.

Group Discussion was taken by Mowsumi Didi on leadership quality.

AAJNA Dipak Sir guided the children and taught different aajnas.

GAMES was conducted by Sabita Didi-In and Out and Namaste game.

Yoga abhiiyas was Conducted by Dipak Sir.

Kahani and Nara was deliverd by Jyotsna Didi.

Day 2 (14-06-2023)

Bouddhik Satra was conducted by Alankrita Didi on Mananeeya Eknathji and Shila Smarak.

Bouddhik Bishleshan was by Parishmita Didi. She conducted a group discussion.

Prayer/Stotra/Geet was taught by Ranjit sir.

Aajna by Dipak Sir.

Game was conducted by Alankrita Didi. The name of the game was Kaddu Tod based on dedication and team work.

Yoga abhiyas was conducted by Dipak Sir.

Kahani and Nara was delivered by Nishant sir.

Day 3 (15-06-2023)

Bouddhik Satra was conducted by Uttar Didi on Srimanta Sankardev – Boldness, why he visited so many places, Namghars and its importance, Guru Shishya Parampara, his contribution.

Bouddhik Bishleshan was taken by Parishmita Didi.

Group Discussion was conducted by Ranjit Sir on “How to start a Samskar Varga and what we have to do?”

Aajnas and Games was taken by Samar sir and Richa Didi.

Yoga Abhiyas was conducted by Samar sir.

Kahani and Nara was delivered by Sushila Didi.

Day 4 (16-06-2023)

Bouddhik Satra was conducted by Samar Sir on Samskar Varga- Why andHow?

Bouddhik Bishleshan was taken by Parishmita Didi.

Group Discussion was taken by Dipak Sir and Ranjit Sir.

Aajna was taken by Parishmita Didi.

Game was taken by Nishant Sir on Anushashan.

Yoga Abhiyas was conducted by Dipak Sir.

Kahani and Nara was delivered was Shabnam Didi.

Day 5 (17-06-2023)

Bouddhik Satra was conducted by Chandana Didi on Bharatiya Sanskriti.

Bouddhik Bishleshan was by Parishmita Didi.

Group Discussion was conducted by Samar Sir.

VALEDICTORY PROGRAMME

The program started with Lamp lighting by Shri Bikheswar Gogoi, Chief Guest and Meghna Kakoty Didi, Principal VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni followed by felicitation of chief guest by Meghna Didi. Students performed Geeta chanting and Meghna Didi addressed the crowd with her welcome speech. Parishmita Didi read out the camp report. Students displayed Yoga, after which Shri Bikheswar Gogoi delivered his speech and told many stories related to life and hurdles of a student’s life. He shared beautiful experiences about the children of their age and thanked Principal Didi for organizing such an event. The programme ended with Ahuti Satra by students and vote of thanks by Richa Didi.

World Environment Day 2023-24

World Environment Day was observed in our Vidyalaya on 5th June. The main purpose of the observation was to spread awareness about the need to protect the environment and the ways to do it. 

The day started with a melodious song on nature by a Class IX student, Archinisha Chetia in senior assembly and Tathagat Domai, Class I in junior assembly. Uttara Didi and Jyotsna Didi spoke about the significance of the day. They focused on measures to reduce and refuse the use of single use plastic in our daily life. A video on the topic "Say No to Plastic Bags" was also shown in the assembly. Dictation Competition was held for classes KG to X. A Debate competition was held for classes VIII, IX and X on the topic "Ban on Plastic Bags". A plantation drive was also conducted by teachers, staff members and students led by Smt. Meghna Kakoty, Principal VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni. Saplings of Pear, Indian Bullet and Cinnamon tree were planted.



CBP on National Education Policy

Our Vidyalaya organized a one day workshop on National Education Policy 2020 on 26th May. It was conducted by E. Srinivasan, the Director of Sampoorna and Gurukul Vidyalaya. The main objective of the workshop was to create awareness about the newly launched education policy 2020 amongst the teachers and to help them develop skills for the holistic development of the children. The resource person stressed upon the newly structured system of education which will emphasize upon the multidisciplinary learning and the vocational education resulting in rising of opportunities of multiple jobs. He also elaborated the cause of maximum dropouts in the Indian schools and the solution of curtailing it ensuring universal access to education at all levels. He engaged the teachers in different group activities to discuss about six varied topics related to the education policy. He was very dynamic and highly knowledgeable and made the session quite amusing and appealing with interesting conversation with the teachers and involved them with creative craft work.

The Parents Teacher Meeting for the academic session 2023-24 was scheduled in the vidyalaya as follows:

The PTMs that were held started with Mangalacharan and a Welcome Speech by Smt. Meghna Kakoty, Pricipal VKV(NEEPCO) Bokuloni followed by introduction of the teachers. Class Teachers expressed their views and remarks which was followed by Subject Teachers views. For classes I, II and III meetings, a ppt. was presented by Sushila Didi to give an overview of the ABL system. Model classes were led by Ranjit Sir and Parishmita Didi. Demonstration of classes were done by Uttara Didi and Richa Didi. Interactive sessions were there between teachers and parents.
