School Science Exhibition Cum Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani 2026

A School Science Exhibition was organized at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO), Bokuloni for the students of Classes VI to X on 3rd Jun 2026. The exhibition provided a platform for students to showcase their scientific knowledge, creativity, and innovative ideas through various models and projects based on themes such as Environmental Conservation, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Development, Health, and Technological Advancements.


The event was judged by Dr. Dipu Haloi, Chief Medical Officer, AGBP, NEEPCO Bokuloni, and Sri Ramesh Bora, Assistant Officer (Chemical), AGBP, NEEPCO Bokuloni. The judges appreciated the students’ efforts, scientific understanding, and innovative thinking, and encouraged them to continue exploring the world of science.


The exhibition also served as a selection platform for the District Level Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani, where the best exhibits were selected to represent the school. The programme concluded successfully, inspiring students to develop a scientific temperament and contribute innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Swachhata Pakhwada Observed in Collaboration with AGBP NEEPCO Bokuloni

As a part of the nationwide Swachhata Pakhwada campaign, AGBP NEEPCO organized a series of awareness programmes in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility among students and the local community.

An Art Competition was organized by NEEPCO on 23rd May, providing students with an opportunity to express their ideas and creativity on the theme "Swachhata Abhiyan" under the guidance of Samar Chiring Sir. The participants enthusiastically showcased their artistic talents and conveyed powerful messages on cleanliness and sustainable living through their drawings and paintings.

To spread awareness among the public, our students presented two street plays (Nukkad Nataks) based on the theme "Swachhata Abhiyan" on 26th May under the guidance of Ranjit Domai Sir. The performances were conducted at Naoholia and Bhadoi Panchali, where students effectively highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness, proper waste management, and community participation in creating a healthier environment.

The programme witnessed active participation from students, teachers, NEEPCO officials, and local residents. Through art and drama, the initiative successfully conveyed the message that cleanliness is not only a responsibility but also a way of life.

The collaborative effort of AGBP NEEPCO and VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni served as a meaningful step towards fostering awareness and inspiring collective action for a cleaner and greener society.

Madhab Deb Abirbhav Tithi

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni solemnly observed Madhab Deb Janmo Tithi on 25th May 2026 in the school Prayer Hall during the 7th and 8th periods. The programme was organised to pay tribute to the great Vaishnavite saint and reformer Srimanta Madhab Deb.

The event was gracefully anchored by Himangshu Gogoi. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by the Principal, marking the auspicious beginning of the programme.


A speech highlighting the life, teachings, and contributions of Madhab Deb was delivered by student Akangsha Dutta. Students of Classes IV, VIII, and IX presented a Borgeet, which added devotional fervour to the celebration.

One of the major attractions of the programme was the short skit “মণিকাঞ্চন সংযোগ”


(Manikanchan Sanyog) presented by the students of Classes VII, VIII, and IX. The drama beautifully portrayed the inseparable bond and spiritual unity between Srimanta Sankardeva and Madhab Deb. Through meaningful dialogues and expressive performances, the students highlighted how their combined efforts strengthened the Neo-Vaishnavite movement in Assam and spread the message of devotion, humanity, equality, and social harmony.

The programme concluded with Shantipath, leaving the audience inspired by the timeless ideals and teachings of the great saints of Assam.

Achievements

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Bokuloni proudly celebrates the remarkable participation and achievement of its students in the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Model United Nations – 2nd Edition (VKVMUN’26), held on 9th and 10th May 2026 at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh, Assam.

Among the participants, Akangsha Dutta brought laurels to the institution by receiving the Special Mention Award for her outstanding performance as the delegate of Al Jazeera in the ICIJ–Journalism Committee. Her confidence, critical thinking, and presentation skills were highly appreciated during the event.

Rhiddhim Bordoloi actively participated as the delegate of Morocco in the UNGA-VI Committee, showcasing excellent communication skills and global awareness throughout the sessions.

Himnish Dibya Das also represented the school with enthusiasm as the delegate of Republic TV in the IPC-PJ Committee, taking part in various discussions and deliberations with great dedication.

The school extends heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for their commendable efforts.

Rabindra Jayanti

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni celebrated Rabindra Jayanti on 11th May 2026 in the Prayer Hall during the 6th and 7th periods with great enthusiasm and devotion. The programme began with Mangalacharan followed by the lighting of the lamp by the respected Principal Sir.


A speech was delivered by Jyotsna Didi, who beautifully explained the life, ideals, and contributions of Rabindranath Tagore in the form of an interesting story. The students listened attentively and learned about the great poet, philosopher, and Nobel laureate.


The cultural programme included a graceful dance performance by the students of Classes VIII and IX and a melodious Rabindra Sangeet group song. A Rabindra Sangeet Competition was also organised house-wise. The students participated enthusiastically in Junior, Sub-Junior, and Senior categories, showcasing their talent and love for music.

The programme concluded  with the chanting of Shanti Path. The celebration helped the students to remember and honour the rich literary and cultural contributions of Rabindranath Tagore.

Vidyarambha Ceremony


The Vidyarambha ceremony for Balvatika I and Balvatika II was organised at VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni on 2nd May 2026. The ceremony began with Tilakam according to the culture and tradition of Vivekananda Kendra. Parents of the students were present on the occasion.


On the same day, books were distributed to the students. The children participated enthusiastically in different activities like songs and poem recitation. The rules, regulations, values, and culture of VKV were explained to the parents by Srivastava Sir and Bornali Didi. A brief orientation was also given to help the parents understand the school system and environment.


As a token of love and blessings, small gifts were presented to the children. The main aim of the programme was to introduce the new students to the culture and values of Vivekananda Kendra from the very beginning of their school life.

The programme was conducted successfully with the active cooperation of all the teachers and was appreciated by the parents.

Proud Moment for VKV(NEEPCO) Bokuloni

 

VKV ((NEEPCO) Bokuloni is proud of Pransumoni Borah for successfully completing the PRCN JW 116 course from 2nd March to 15th April 2026 at OTA Gwalior and becoming an Associate NCC Officer.

Utsarga Samaroh and Matri Puja

Date: 31st January 2026

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni solemnly observed Utsarga Samaroh and Matri Puja with deep devotion and reverence for motherhood. The programme was specially organized for the students of Class X, who participated along with their mothers, making the occasion spiritually uplifting and emotionally enriching.

The programme began with Manglacharan, setting a sacred atmosphere. This was followed by the Matri Puja ritual, symbolizing gratitude, respect, and reverence towards mothers. As part of the ritual, students washed the feet of their mothers and welcomed them with Tilakam, expressing humility, love, and devotion.


The puja was gracefully guided by Shri Sanjay Srivastava Sir, who initiated the ceremony with Ganesh Puja and then led the students step by step through the Matri Puja rituals. The students sought the blessings of their mothers, strengthening the emotional and spiritual bond between mother and child.



The programme concluded with the distribution of Prasad (Kheer) among all present and ended peacefully with Shanti Path, leaving everyone with a sense of gratitude, harmony, and inner fulfillment.

The Matri Puja celebration beautifully reflected the values upheld by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, nurturing respect for parents, cultural traditions, and moral values among students.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2026 AT VKV NEEPCO BOKULONI

Date: 26th January 2026

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great pride, patriotism, and solemnity. The programme commenced with Manglacharan, invoking blessings for peace and harmony.


This was followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by the respected Principal, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokulni, Smt. Meghna Kakoty, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem. The atmosphere resonated with national pride and unity.

The programme was further enriched by an inspiring address by the Principal, who highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution and the responsibilities of citizens in upholding democratic values. Thereafter, Aditi Limboo of Class IX presented the Swadesh Mantra, instilling a sense of devotion and love for the motherland.

A group of students then presented a patriotic song, filling the campus with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Following this, Bornika Das of Class VIII delivered a thoughtful speech, beautifully highlighting the importance of Republic Day and its relevance in shaping a strong, united, and progressive nation.

As a special gesture, students of Class X (Session 2024–2025) were felicitated by the teachers, acknowledging their journey and achievements and wishing them success in their future endeavours.

The programme concluded with Shanti Path, followed by the distribution of sweets, marking a joyful and meaningful end to the celebration. After the school Programme, everyone headed to the NEEPCO programme where our students performed some cultural items.

SURYA NAMASKAR MAHA-YAJNA AT VKV NEEPCO BOKULONI

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni successfully conducted the Surya Namaskar Maha-Yajna on 25th January 2026 with great discipline, devotion, and enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and spiritual growth.




The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by Manglacharan, creating a serene and auspicious atmosphere. Shri Monumohan Borgohain Sir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and was warmly felicitated by the respected Principal, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni Smt. Meghna Kakoty.

At the very beginning of the programme, the objective (Udeshya) of the Surya Namaskar Maha-Yajna was clearly highlighted by Sudip Sir, emphasizing the significance of yoga in developing a healthy body and disciplined mind. Students from Classes VI to IX then performed Surya Namaskar with great synchronization and dedication.

The event was further energized by inspiring slogans led by Samar Chiring Sir, motivating students to adopt yoga as a way of life. The Chief Guest enriched the programme with his valuable thoughts, encouraging students to maintain physical fitness and inner balance through regular yogic practices.

The session concluded with Savasana, allowing students to relax and internalize the benefits of the practice. Towards the end, the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Sanjay Sir, acknowledging the efforts of all contributors.

The programme concluded peacefully with Shanti Path, leaving everyone with a sense of calm, discipline, and renewed energy.

SARASWATI PUJA & NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE JAYANTI

The celebration of Saraswati Puja on 23rd January held special significance this year, as it coincided with the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The day beautifully united the ideals of knowledge and courage, inspiring students and teachers alike.


On this auspicious occasion, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni paid reverent homage to Goddess Saraswati, the divine source of knowledge, wisdom, art, and learning. The programme began with Murti Pujan (idol worship), performed with devotion and traditional rituals. The serene atmosphere of the school campus reflected deep reverence as prayers were offered, seeking blessings for wisdom, creativity, and academic excellence.

Simultaneously, the school commemorated Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti, remembering his extraordinary patriotism, courage, and leadership. Students were enlightened about Netaji’s inspiring life and his unwavering dedication to the freedom and unity of the nation.

After the completion of the puja rituals, Prasad Vitran (distribution of prasad) was carried out among students, teachers, and staff, fostering a spirit of togetherness and devotion.

The combined observance conveyed a profound message—may wisdom guide our thoughts, and courage strengthen our actions. The celebration truly reflected the values upheld by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya in nurturing enlightened minds, disciplined character, and patriotic spirit.

Varshik Krida Sang Sanskritik Utsav 2025-26


 Dates: 3rd January – 10th January 2026

VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni successfully organized its Annual Sports and Cultural Fest 2025–26, which commenced on 3rd January 2026 and concluded on 10th January 2026 with great enthusiasm, discipline, and festive spirit.

The festival witnessed a vibrant blend of cultural expression and sportsmanship. Cultural events were conducted on 5th and 6th January, showcasing the artistic talents of students, while sports events were held on 7th, 8th, and 9th January, encouraging physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition.

The programme began with Mangala Charan, followed by a refreshing Yoga demonstration by students from Balvatika to Class II, setting a positive and energetic tone for the event.

The Closing Ceremony on 10th January 2026 was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Opang Ering, HOP, NEEPCO, who delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of sports in building discipline, leadership, and a healthy lifestyle among students.

The Principal, Smt. Meghna Katoky, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest with her address and felicitated him with a Phulam Gamucha as a mark of respect and gratitude.

All four houses participated enthusiastically in the march past, displaying unity, discipline, and team spirit. At the conclusion of the fest, prizes and trophies were distributed to the winners.

The School Band

VKV Bokuloni had tried students-led band where peers teach each other drumming, exemplifying peer learning under the guidance of Bir Kumar Panika Sir. By creating a band for students, they gain practical skills, teamwork, and confidence through hands-on experience .We are very happy to let you know it was very successful.
