Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni solemnly observed Utsarga Samaroh and Matri Puja with deep
devotion and reverence for motherhood. The programme was specially organized
for the students of Class X, who participated along with their mothers, making
the occasion spiritually uplifting and emotionally enriching.
The
programme began with Manglacharan, setting a sacred atmosphere. This was
followed by the Matri Puja ritual, symbolizing gratitude, respect, and
reverence towards mothers. As part of the ritual, students washed the feet of
their mothers and welcomed them with Tilakam, expressing humility, love, and
devotion.
The puja
was gracefully guided by Shri Sanjay Srivastava Sir, who initiated the ceremony
with Ganesh Puja and then led the students step by step through the Matri Puja
rituals. The students sought the blessings of their mothers, strengthening the
emotional and spiritual bond between mother and child.
The Matri
Puja celebration beautifully reflected the values upheld by Vivekananda Kendra
Vidyalaya, nurturing respect for parents, cultural traditions, and moral values
among students.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni
celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great pride, patriotism, and
solemnity. The programme commenced with Manglacharan, invoking blessings for
peace and harmony.
The programme was further enriched by an inspiring
address by the Principal, who highlighted the significance of the Indian
Constitution and the responsibilities of citizens in upholding democratic
values. Thereafter, Aditi Limboo of Class IX presented the Swadesh Mantra,
instilling a sense of devotion and love for the motherland.
A group of students then presented a patriotic song,
filling the campus with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Following this,
Bornika Das of Class VIII delivered a thoughtful speech, beautifully
highlighting the importance of Republic Day and its relevance in shaping a
strong, united, and progressive nation.
As a special gesture, students of Class X (Session
2024–2025) were felicitated by the teachers, acknowledging their journey and
achievements and wishing them success in their future endeavours.
The programme concluded with Shanti Path, followed by the distribution of sweets, marking a joyful and meaningful end to the celebration. After the school Programme, everyone headed to the NEEPCO programme where our students performed some cultural items.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni
successfully conducted the Surya Namaskar Maha-Yajna on 25th January 2026 with
great discipline, devotion, and enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of
physical fitness, mental well-being, and spiritual growth.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp,
followed by Manglacharan, creating a serene and auspicious atmosphere. Shri
Monumohan Borgohain Sir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and was warmly
felicitated by the respected Principal, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni Smt. Meghna Kakoty.
At the very beginning of the programme, the objective
(Udeshya) of the Surya Namaskar Maha-Yajna was clearly highlighted by Sudip
Sir, emphasizing the significance of yoga in developing a healthy body and
disciplined mind. Students from Classes VI to IX then performed Surya Namaskar
with great synchronization and dedication.
The event was further energized by inspiring slogans
led by Samar Chiring Sir, motivating students to adopt yoga as a way of life.
The Chief Guest enriched the programme with his valuable thoughts, encouraging
students to maintain physical fitness and inner balance through regular yogic
practices.
The session concluded with Savasana, allowing
students to relax and internalize the benefits of the practice. Towards the
end, the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Sanjay Sir, acknowledging the efforts
of all contributors.
The programme concluded peacefully with Shanti Path,
leaving everyone with a sense of calm, discipline, and renewed energy.

The celebration of Saraswati Puja on 23rd January held special significance this year, as it coincided with the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The day beautifully united the ideals of knowledge and courage, inspiring students and teachers alike.
On this auspicious occasion, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni
paid reverent homage to Goddess Saraswati, the divine source of knowledge,
wisdom, art, and learning. The programme began with Murti Pujan (idol worship),
performed with devotion and traditional rituals. The serene atmosphere of the
school campus reflected deep reverence as prayers were offered, seeking
blessings for wisdom, creativity, and academic excellence.
Simultaneously, the school commemorated Netaji Subhas
Chandra Bose Jayanti, remembering his extraordinary patriotism, courage, and
leadership. Students were enlightened about Netaji’s inspiring life and his
unwavering dedication to the freedom and unity of the nation.
After the completion of the puja rituals, Prasad
Vitran (distribution of prasad) was carried out among students, teachers, and
staff, fostering a spirit of togetherness and devotion.
The combined observance conveyed a profound message—may wisdom guide our thoughts, and courage strengthen our actions. The celebration truly reflected the values upheld by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya in nurturing enlightened minds, disciplined character, and patriotic spirit.
VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni successfully organized its Annual
Sports and Cultural Fest 2025–26, which commenced on 3rd January 2026 and
concluded on 10th January 2026 with great enthusiasm, discipline, and festive
spirit.
The festival witnessed a vibrant blend of cultural
expression and sportsmanship. Cultural events were conducted on 5th and 6th
January, showcasing the artistic talents of students, while sports events were
held on 7th, 8th, and 9th January, encouraging physical fitness, teamwork, and
healthy competition.
The programme began with Mangala Charan, followed by a
refreshing Yoga demonstration by students from Balvatika to Class II, setting a
positive and energetic tone for the event.
The Closing Ceremony on 10th January 2026 was graced by the
Chief Guest, Shri Opang Ering, HOP, NEEPCO, who delivered an inspiring speech
highlighting the importance of sports in building discipline, leadership, and a
healthy lifestyle among students.
The Principal, Smt. Meghna Katoky, warmly welcomed the Chief
Guest with her address and felicitated him with a Phulam Gamucha as a mark of
respect and gratitude.
All four houses participated enthusiastically in the march
past, displaying unity, discipline, and team spirit. At the conclusion of the
fest, prizes and trophies were distributed to the winners.
The Annual Sports and Cultural Fest concluded on a joyful
note, celebrating students’ talents, teamwork, and the spirit of holistic
education upheld by VKV Bokuloni.
VKV Bokuloni had tried students-led band where peers teach each other drumming, exemplifying peer learning under the guidance of Bir Kumar Panika Sir. By creating a band for students, they gain practical skills, teamwork, and confidence through hands-on experience .We are very happy to let you know it was very successful.
