A Positive Interaction with Our Leaders 5th December 2019

Today we were blessed by the sudden visit of the Vice President, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Sri A. Balakrishnanji. Su. Reboti Devi, Joint Secretary, VKSPV  and Sri Jitendra Ji, Jeevanbratee Karyakarta of VKK also accompanied him. They were very much pleased to see how the school incorporated value-based learning along with academic growth, appreciated how the school is maintaining the environment around it, found the school campus clean and clear with no plastic around. They also discussed how to connect with students with a positive approach and showed us a path on how to make them feel loved by our open acceptance. We also charged up with positivity to make more impact on our student's life by the blissful words from Sri Balakrishnanji.

Workshop on Adolescent Health 3rd December 2019

Kalyankami Foundation Programme held at VKV (NEEPCO) BOKULONI. The President of the Kalyankami Foundation, Mr Madhurjya Sharma addressed our students. Thereafter a scientific talk on adolescents' health was delivered by Dr. Monprative Barooah and a presentation on Reading and Health-a positive connect was shown by Sumanta Bhattacharya. Other members also gave very good advice and interacted with our students.

Lachit Divas Observances 25th November 2019

 25th November 2019
Lachit Divas was very much enthusiastically observed in both of our assembly. Experience Assamese teachers shared the importance of the day. With their speech they tried to connect the heart and mind of our young children and successfully encourage the future generation with the inspiring life of Lachit Borphukan. Lachit Borphukan was a commander and Borphukan in the Ahom kingdom, located in present-day Assam, India, known for his leadership in the 1671 Battle of Saraighat that thwarted a drawn-out attempt by Mughal forces under the command of Ramsingh 1 to take back Ahom kingdom. In both the assembly students practiced beautiful assamese song in the remembrance of the great fighter of Assam.

Educational Tour to Local Farm- 20th November 2019

Selected students from our Vidyalaya, who are having real interest in local farm and the way it works, visited a nearby farm on 20th November 2019. They talked with the farm owner and collected all the information that a person needs to know to have a growing farm in his or her own property. Our respected didi accompanied our students and also helping our students to make valuable report. The beautiful moments captured in pictures by our all-rounder office assistant.

Educational Tour to Mrinal Jyoti Rehabilitation Centre-19th November 2019

11 Selected students of classes VII and VIII along with the Principal and three other teachers from the Vidyalaya visited the Mrinal Jyoti Rehabilitation Centre, Duliajan. Through the visit the students were expected to learn about the learning situations of the differently able children, the difficulties they face, the talent they have, the contribution they make, the activities they love to do, the struggle they go through every day and prepare a report about them. All the students interacted with children with various disabilities. The students of Rehabilitation Centre also asked various questions in sign language, which was interpreted by the dedicated teachers of the Centre. The tour, on the whole, was an eye opening experience to the visiting students and teachers of our school. 

Sadhana Divas Celebration, 19th November 2019

The Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni celebrated the 105th Birth Anniversary of the Man of Steel Eknath Ranade as Sadhana Divas in both Senior and Junior Assemblies. Smt. Himashree Devi and Sri Saumitra Das spoke on the significance of the day in Junior and Senior Assemblies respectively highlighting the organizing skills and dedicated feats of the master organizer. A short biopic on Eknathji's life and feats was shown in both the assemblies.

In the Kendra Varga held in the evening that day teachers performed  yoga and had a discussion on 'Eknathji: My Source of Inspiration'. Their sharing of experience about how the life of Eknathji inspired them in their life was a true tribute to the Man with Capital 'M'. The teachers also lent their voice to a song in tribute to Eknathji.
