Like last year this year too our Vidyalaya conducted the Annual Vivekananda G.K. Test at ten schools with 100 Multiple Choice Questions including special questions about Swami Vivekananda and Vivekananda Kendra on the eve of Universal Brotherhood Day. Ushapur High School, Ekalavya Junior College, Bokuloni Jatiya Vidyalaya, Bhadoi High School, Chichia ME School and Green Buds School secured the first 6 positions and they were invited to take part in the final round of the competition organized by our Vidyalaya on 11th September 2019. The other four participating schools were: Purbanchal Karikari High School, Model English School, Dhekiajan High School and Bhadoi Panchali Jatiya Vidyalaya.

The school celebrated Hindi Diwas with Extempore Speech Competition for all the teachers. Sri Sanjay Srivastava delivered a speech on the significance of the occasion. Smt. Jyotsna Srivastava and Su. Sushila Chetry recited Hindi poems.
Celebrating Lal Bahadur Shastri and Gandhi Jayanti-2019

Like every year Gandhi and Shashtri Jayanti was celebrated in both junior and senior assemblies on 2nd October 2019. Highlights : Speech (Jyotsna Didi-Sr. Assembly and Priyanka Sarma Jr. Assembly), Learning of the Bhajan ‘Vaishnava Janato’ by students and teachers, Swachchata Report of the Vidyalaya (PPT) presented by Paryavaran Sangha, Video clip on ‘Save Water’ in both assemblies, Memory Game Competition for classes KG to V, Shramdaan by teachers and students of classes VI to X on the school campus.
The Bhajan taught by Sri Ranjit Domai, Music Teacher of the school created a devout environment. The Eco Club members Smt. Chandana Pathak, Smt. Himashree Devi and
Smt. Alankrita Saikia Baruah presented a Vidyalaya Swachchata Report in PowerPoint and a video clip on the theme 'Save Water' in both junior and senior
assemblies to create awareness regarding water audit among the students and staff.
Thereafter, under the guidance of Sri Sanjay Srivastava, Programme Co-ordinator of the school, all the energetic
students of the secondary section along with their gurus (teachers) engaged themselves
in Shramdaan (a cleaning drive) on the school campus. All the classrooms and the campus were cleaned thoroughly. The primary students also enjoyed themselves on the day by playing memory games conducted by the Co-curicular Activity Department of the school.
