Lachit Divas

 

Lachit Divas was observed on 24th November 2022 in our school. This year we have celebrated the 400 years birth anniversary of  Lachit Borphukan. The program started with Mangalacharan followed by a speech on Lachit Borphukan by Richa Didi and Gita Didi. A song was performed by the students  to make the day more auspicious. After that a short video had been shown on the life of Lachit Borphukan to all the students and then the program ended with Shantipath.

Sadhana Diwas

 

 


Sandhana Divas was observed in our school on 19th November 2022. After the morning assembly the program started with Mangalacharan. The students of class VI and VII performed a patriotic song followed by speech on Eknathji by a student of class VIII and a teacher. The second phase of the program started with Sunder Kand Path and Yajna where the students, teachers non teaching staff including members of  Amrit Pariwar took part. After the completion of Havan, Prasad was distributed. The day ended with the blessings of God.

Chidren's Day


Children's Day was celebrated in our Vidyalaya on 14th November. Morning assembly was conducted by the teachers. In both the senior and junior assemblies teachers performed patriotic songs. Jyotsna Didi delivered a speech in Junior Assembly and Mowsumi Didi in Senior Assembly. After assembly a small gift was given to all students as a token of love and different games were arranged for the students like Treasure Hunt, Chocolate Race, Balloon Bursting, Drop Ball etc. A movie (The Lion King) was shown to the junior students and a friendly football match was arranged for the senior students. An Essay Competition was arranged for the students of Class VI to X, after which Class VII students went to play Kabaddi Match with Chi Chia Bokuloni High School. At the end of the activities light lunch was served to the students. Students and Teachers enjoyed the day and participated in all the activities with great joy and enthusiasm.

Ganit Prajna Samvardhan

Ganit Prajna Samvardhan (school level) was organised in our Vidyalaya on 9th November 2022 for the rank holders in VKSPV level of GPP 2022 for classes VI to X. Certificates were given to the achievers and Mowsumi Gogoi Didi told about the objectives of GPP. Shri Tikheswar Chetia Sir, Retired Mathematics Teacher of Chi Chia High School was the chief guest and he conducted a small workshop on some easy tricks in Mathematics for the students.



Bhupendra Jayanti

Bhupendra Jayanti was observed in our Vidyalaya on 5th November 2022 during morning assembly wherein a group song was performed by students and Chandana Didi spoke about the significance of the day. Later in the day workshop on Bhupendra Sangeet was also conducted by Ranjit Sir and Eman Chetia (Class X) for junior classes.

Vigilance Awareness Week

This Year, Vigilance Awareness Week was observed from 31st October to 6th November with the theme - Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation. To create awareness among students, to promote transparency probity and integrity in public life and to encourage the fight against corruption, AGBP NEEPCO organized a Quiz Competition in our Vidyalaya on 1st November 2022. The prizes for the winners were given away by Shri Bhupendra Goswami Sir, HOP AGBP NEEPCO.

Sister Nivedita Jayanti

Sister Nivedita Jayanti was observed in our school on 28th October during the morning assembly. Chandana Pathak Didi told about the importance of the day. A group song was performed by students.

Reading Festival

A book fair by a leading publishing house 'WOODPECKER' was organised in the school from 27th to 29th October. All students were asked to read at least one book to keep away from electronic gadgets and develop reading habit.



Drawing Competition

A drawing competition was organised by NEEPCO on 20th October on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan for classes VI to X.



Skill Workshops

Several workshops on various skills were organized at our school from 12th October to 15th October. The workshops were divided into two categories.
Primary: KG to V
Secondary: VI to IX

1. Dance Workshop was conducted by Smt. Bornali Rajbonshi on 12th and 13th October

2. Padavali Workshop was conducted by Shri. Ranjit Domai on 12th and 13th October

3. Craft Workshop for boys was conducted by Shri. Samar Chiring 

4. Stitching Workshop for Girls was conducted by Smt. Sujata Domai

5. Spoken English was conducted by Sutapa Didi, Alankrita Didi and Parishmita Didi

6. Ramayan Darshan for classes I to V on 14th and 15th October.



Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti

Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti was observed on 1st October 2022. The students of Chia Chia M.V. School along with their Principal and two teachers came and joined in our program. The program started with Mangalacharan and Sabita Jana Didi anchored the program. Smt. Meghna Kakoty, Principal, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni addressed the audience with a welcome speech and felicitated the guests with Fulam Gamusa. A heartwarming song was performed by Ranjit Domai Sir followed by a speech by Sutapa Sarkar Didi on the importance of the day. A group song was also presented by some students of Chia Chia M.V. school which added to the beauty of the program. The program was concluded by a vote of thanks and a plantation drive by Chia Chia M.V. School.

After the completion of the small program, different competitions were arranged for the primary students.

Universal Brotherhood Day

Universal Brotherhood day was celebrated in our vidyalaya on 10th of September 2022. 11th September 2022 marks the 129th year of Swami Vivekananda's historic speech in World's Parliament of Religions in Chicago. The celebration in our vidyalaya  started with Mangalacharan followed by Pushpanjali offered by teachers along with class IX and X students. Samar Chiring Sir addressed everyone present with a speech on the significance of the day. 

After the program in school, to spread Swami Vivekananda's message of selfless service and universal harmony, our vidyalaya organized Open Quiz Competitions in 5 different schools. ABL (Activity Based Learning) system was also introduced in those schools. In each school, two teachers conducted Quiz and two teachers demonstrated the ABL system. Students of secondary section participated in the Open  Quiz. There were two winning team from each school. 



Teachers' Day

Teachers' Day was observed on 5th September in our Vidyalaya. This year parents of primary classes felicitated the teachers. The Teachers' Day programme started with Mangalacharan. Harshita Phukan, a class X student anchored the programme. Emon Chetia (class X) presented the Guru Vandana. Jeesita Jana (Class X) addressed everyone present with her welcome speech. Melodious solo songs and group songs were performed by class X students. An inspirational speech was delivered by Uttara Didi where she spoke about our teachers like Valmiki, Chanakya, Gautam Buddha, Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Savitribai Phule, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and APJ Abdul Kalam - their contribution to the society, human population, education and social reforms. Ranjit Sir also presented a soul touching song on 'Mother' our first teacher followed by experience sharing of acting teachers. A game was also arranged for the teachers by the students and everyone enjoyed. The programme concluded with Meghna Didi's (Principal VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni) feedback and Vote of thanks by Abhineet Gogoi (Class X).



Activity Based Learning Workshop 2022-23

Activity Based Learning Workshop was organised on 23rd August 2022. All the guests were welcomed by Tilakam. The program started with Mangalacharan. The inaugural session was anchored by Parishmita Nath Didi. The guests, the mentors and the coordinators were addressed by Meghna Kakoty Didi, Principal, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni with a welcome speech. Swapna Didi (Mentor of the ABL Workshop) addressed the participants with an introductory speech where she explained about some of the important key points on introducing the Rainbow activities and the Kitbox activities to the students, involving the students and executing these activities in the class, use of textbooks with the activities and what the students will learn from these activities. Then the introductory program ended with Shanti Path and was followed by:

1. Class Demonstation on Concept Enrichment Rainbow activities - presented by Bijuli Didi and Sushila didi for Hindi, Ranjita Didi for Assamese, Manju Didi for English and Chandana Didi for EVS.

2. Demonstration of the Kitbox activities - presented by Mowsumi Didi and Banashree Didi for Maths, Gitanjali Didi and Richa Didi for EVS, Uttara Didi for English and Jyotsna Didi for Hindi.

3. Explanation of objectives of cards - presented by Punyalakhi Didi, Ranjit Sir, Bornali Didi, Rumi Didi, Sabita Didi and Parishmita Didi.

4. Discussion on the Sample Lesson Plan brought by the participants and presentation of the Model Lesson Plan brought by the Resource Team.

5. Open session for experience sharing on the ABL Workshop among the teachers.

The Alpahar and Bhojan was provided by the school. In the concluding session Shri Manoj Sarma Sir, Principal, VKV Tingrai and Shri Vasudev Upadhyay Sir, Principal, VKV Sivasagar along with the ABL Workshop coordinators shared their feedback and last but not the least Achirvachan was delivered by Kamalakant Sir. Towards the end, Parishmita Nath Didi addressed the guests, the mentors and the coordinators with a vote of thanks and the workshop ended with Shanti Path.


Shri Krishna Janmashtami

Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on our vidyalaya on 19 August 2022. The programme started with Mangalacharan and a beautiful description of Lord Krishna as the epitome of love, sacrifices, values etc. in the form of Madhurashtakam by students. The program was anchored by Rajorkhee Gogoi (class VII) and addresses with a speech on the importance of the day by Khilavana Gogoi (class VII). On the birthday of Lord Krishna, Krishna bhajan was presented by the students. A wonderful speech was delivered by Suresh Sir where he told about an incident in Lord Krishna's life. All the students enjoyed the story. The programme ended with Prasad distribution and Shantipath. After which the students of different classes participated in different competitions. Classes KG to I had 'Go As you Like' competition wherein they were asked to come as any character from Krishna Leela. Similarly classes II and III were asked to come as any character from Ramayana. Classes IV and V had Krishna Bhajan competition. Classes VI to X had competitions on different fun games.



76th Independence day

The 76th Independence day was celebrated as 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' today on 15 August which marked the end of British rule after two centuries. The Tiranga is the main focus as it is the Nation's pride and identity. 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign encourages people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the completion of 75 years of Inependence. Anchita Baruah of class VIII anchored the programme.  The celebration started with Mangalacharan followed by a melodious Patriotic Group Song by students. Smt. Meghna Kakoty, Principal VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni unfurled the National Tricolour at 7:00 am and addressed the crowd with her inspirational speech. Her words enlightened everyone present there. After which the recently passed out students of class X (2021-22) were felicitated. Punitjyoti Neog, a class VII student lead the Swadesh Mantra followed by all the students. Chayan Gogoi of class X delivered a speech and the programme ended with Shantipath and sweet distribution.

After the celebration at school, all the students, parents and teachers proceeded towards AGBP  NEEPCO office for further celebration. There our students performed a small cultural event which included a Patriotic Group Song, Swadesh Mantra, Group Dance etc.




Rakshabandhan and Sanskrit Diwas

Rakshabandhan and Sanskrit Diwas was observed in our school on 12th August in the Assembly Hall from 9.00 am to 10.00 am. In the senior assembly Prantik Saikia of class VII delivered a speech on the importance of the day which was followed by a melodious group song by students. Parishmita Didi spoke about the significance of Sanskrit Diwas and why we need to revive it. She also talked how Rakshabandhan came to be celebrated in our culture and the meaning behind it. After which Rakhi tying ceremony took place where students tied Rakhis to each other, teachers and non-teaching staffs followed by sweet distribution.

In junior assembly importance of Rakshabandhan and Sanskrit Diwas was explained by Jyotsna didi through a beautiful story followed by tying of Rakhis by students and sweet distribution.

Some of class VIII students along with some teachers went to NEEPCO office and tied Rakhis to Head of the Project, Sri. Bhupendra Nath Goswami and other employees. They also went to the Civil Office and tied Rakhis to all the employees present.



Cycle Rally to promote 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

A Cycle Rally was organised by our school on 12th August for creating awareness about the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's Independence. The rally started from the School to Bahoni Gaon at 8.15 am in the morning. Both students and teachers took part in the rally. The cycle rally was back to the school  by 9 am. The idea behind the initiative was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

Sanskrit Saptaha

Sanskrit Saptaha was observed in our school from 8th August onwards. In the senior morning assembly throughout the week, Sanskrit Pledge, Sanskrit Thought with Explanation and Padavali Karmayoga Shloka were performed by students and Sanskrit Patriotic Song was sung by Ranjit Sir. Similarly in junior assembly Sanskrit Pledge was delivered by class III students. Patriotic songs were performed by different teachers on different days, Shlokas and Mantras were taught by teachers, Thought explanation was done through stories by Jyotsna Didi. On 12th August Sanskrit Diwas was observed where Jyotsna Didi told the importance of Sanskrit Diwas and created awareness among the students to promote its revival. She emphasised how Sanskrit is the mother of all languages in India.

Vimarsh on "Enlightening Mind and Memory"



A Vimarsh on "Enlightening Mind and Memory" was conducted  today by Dr. Aditi Singhal ( Brahma Kumaris, Tinsukia Sub Zone Centre both in online and offline modes for Well-Wishers, Parents , Teachers and Students (Classes VIII to X).

The programme started with Mangalacharan followed by felicitation. She started the session with an activity and primarily focused on how to develop memory and mind power through various techniques.  The session was a wonderful one with many activities and full participation of the students.

Main points of discussion: 

1) AIR Technique - Association, Imagination, Ridiculous thinking.

2) Scientific Revision plan - Registration, Retention and Recollection.

3) Importance of Self motivation and Self belief 

The programme was very interactive and informative with power point presentation. The session ended with shantipath.

International Yoga Day

8th International Yoga Day was celebrated in our Vidyalaya today (21/06/2022). Students of Classes  VI to IX performed yoga at vidyalaya premises along with the teachers. The programme was conducted by Dipak Kumar Sir. The practice was done in accordance with the protocols set by Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India. Simultaneously three teachers and students of class X went to NEEPCO Community Hall and conducted  yoga in collaboration with AGBP NEEPCO Bokuloni. Surya Namaskar was displayed by Class X students guided by Samar Chiring Sir. The programme at NEEPCO Community Hall ended with a display of various asanas by our students. 

From 9:50 am online guidance on importance of yoga in our daily life was given by Sri Kamalakant Baliarsingha, Accademic Coordinator, VKSPV Guwahati. A group of students displayed various asanas during the online programme.

Personality Development Camp for Class-VI Students


PDC for Class VI students was organised from 30/5/2022 to 3/6/2022.Su. Pronati  Roy, RAO VKSPV  spoke on ' Indian Culture' on 2/6/2022 during one of the Boudhik Satras. Mananeeya  Nripen Mahanta, Rtd Asst. Manager, Finance Dept, AGBP Bokuloni was the Chief Guest in the Samapan Samaroah.

Art Competition for Students

An Art Competition for Students from Class I to X on different topics was organized on 23rd May 2022. Prizes are to be given away by AGBP, NEEPCO, Bokuloni.

 


 

 

 

Vidyarambh

Vidyarambh ceremony was held on 22nd April for new KG students. Total 38 students along with their parents were present in the programme. The Principal, Sri. Guru Charan Das Sir addressed the parents and students and highlighted about the importance of Vidyarambh ceremony as well as about parenting. After his inspiring speech, the rituals of the ceremony began with KG students sitting on the teacher's lap, chanting and writing 'OM' on the rice plate. They were given sweets. Parents and students offered pushpanjali to Bharat Mata which was accompanied by bhajans on the background. The programme ended with shantipath.

Varsharambh

On 21st April Varsharambh was observed at the school prayer hall during the morning assembly to start the academic session 2022-2023 for the smooth functioning and good result of the school. In both the primary and secondary assembly  Sri. Guru Charan Das Sir, the Principal of the school, welcomed the students for the new academic session with his motivational words and also reminded them about some do's and dont's. Saraswati vandana and bhajans were sang. The programme ended with shantipath.



Utsarga Samaroh and Matri Diwas

Utsarga Samaroh and Matri Diwas was observed for the outgoing class X students on 6th April. The programme started at 8.30 am. The significance of Utsarga Samaroh was explained by Sanjay Sir and Uttara Didi. Students lighted diyas on the outline of the rangoli of India map and took prasad followed by pushpanjali of Bharat Mata. Students and teachers shared their experiences, it was an emotional moment. The Principal, Sri. Guru Charan Das Sir motivated the students with his inspiring words and gave some valuable tips to be followed for their upcoming exam. Thus the first phase of the programme concluded at 10.15 am.

The second phase of the programme was the observance of Matri Diwas. Students worshipped their parents in a ceremonial way by washing their feet. After tilakam and aarti, Ganesh puja and Hawan was conducted by Sanjay Sir. Sri. Bikash Upadhyaya Sir from VKV Dibrugarh was invited to conduct the Matri Puja. Some of the mothers shared their experiences and thanked the teachers for their contribution. After the programme, lunch was served to all.


Educational Awareness Programme on Conservation of Energy

Vivekananda Kendra Vidayalya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni embraces a passion to work for a green and clean surrounding. Eco club is one of the intergal parts of our school curriculum and a member of NGC (National Green Corps). Our Eco club - Aranya-Sikha organized a Cycle Rally on 23rd April 2022 as a Mass Education Awareness Campaign supported by PCRA (Petroleum Conservation and Research Association) for the cause of Conservation of Energy. As a part of the program, two competitions were held:

1.  Placard/Slogan Writing Competition (Inter School: VIII-XI)

* Topic for Placard/Slogan“Conservation of Energy” 

* The pictures/snapshots of the Placards were asked to be sent to WhatsApp group for judgement and then hung in front of the cycle on the day of the rally.

2. Paragraph Writing Competition (Lady Parents, Teachers, Well-wishers, Supporting Staff)


* Topic for Paragraph writing“Homemaker’s Tips and Tricks on reducing consumption of fossil fuel”, Word Limit: 120 – 150 words.

* The paragraph written were asked to be sent to the WhatsApp group. All the contestants were requested to take part in the Cycle Rally to boost the morale of the students and help create awareness.

Many Schools participated in the event and made it fruitful. The Schools were: Purbanchal Karikari Uccha Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Ekalavya Junior College, Ushapur Higher Secondary School, Bhadoi Model School. Two students each from DPS Digboi and Maria’s Public School Ghy, who were on vacation, were very enthusiastic about the event and also participated in the Cycle Rally and Placard writing competition. Lady Parents and Teachers also took part in the Rally.

The Program started at 8 am with Mangalacharan. Smt. Chandana Pathak, coordinator of eco-club spoke about the importance of the event. Smt. Mitali Goswami, President of Ladies Club (NEEPCO) Bokuloni was invited as the chief guest and was felicitated with Fulam Gamusa and a token of Love by Smt. Gita Sharma and Smt. Jyotsna Srivastava respectively. General instructions were given and Smt. Mitali Goswami flagged off the cycle rally. The cycle rally covered a distance of 6 kms inside the NEEPCO campus. The participants were provided glucose water at the ending point and were taken to the NRC hall for the concluding session. The news about the Cycle Rally was covered by journalist Jeet Dutta of Time 8 and was telecast. The awareness program was also published in print media like Amar Axom, Niyamiya Barta, Assam Aditya, Purbanchal Prahari etc.

The concluding session was organized in collaboration with the NEEPCO Ladies Club. Smt. Rakhimoni Rajkumari Gogoi anchored the program. The Program started with Mangalacharan and followed with a Chorus by the NEEPCO ladies. Smt. Nirmali Baishya, Smt. Swapnali Borkakoty, Smt. Meenakshi Konwar, Smt. Mrinali Swargiyari and some students shared their experiences about the event. A Jeng Bihu was performed by NEEPCO ladies followed by a Poem Recitation by Swapnali Borkakoty(Parent). After that prizes for Placard/Slogan writing competition were announced by Smt. Pallavi Bordoloi. The prizes were given away by Smt. Mitali Goswami to the following students.

3rd Prize: Niharika Moran

Consolation Prize: Prarthana Borah, Abhinav Gogoi, Nilutpal Khanikar, Shashankor Chetia and Jeesita Jana.

The program continued with a group song by the students, followed by prize distribution for Paragraph writing competition. The prizes were given away by Sri. Guru Charan Das, Principal VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni. The winners are:

3rd Prize: Rakhimoni Rajkumari Gogoi

The program concluded with a motivating speech by Smt. Mitali Goswami followed by the vote of thanks by Smt. Neeti Changmai and ended with ShantiPath.

The successful completion of the Program was possible due to the dedication and diligence of all the teachers of our Vidyalaya who worked behind the scene especially the organizing team members: Smt. Chandana Pathak, Smt. Alankrita S. Baruah, Smt. Uttara Baruah, Sri. Sanjay Srivastava and Sri. Dipak Kumar.

The need and importance of Energy Conservation was highlighted for a better tomorrow. The Program concluded by striving to improve ourselves by reflecting on our eco-friendly habit-forming activities and by taking a challenge as an opportunity and not a problem.

Saraswati Puja


Saraswati Puja was solemnised at the school with much fervour and enthusiasm. Taking the Govt. SOP into consideration, only classes IX and X came to school to celebrate Puja. The Hawan started at 9.00 am in the morning  wherein all the students and teachers joined in performing the rituals. It was followed by a beautiful session of Saraswati bhajans by the students. Saraswati Mata Aarti was then led by the Purohit followed by everyone. Prasadam, Kheer and few other items were prepared which were relished by all. The celebration ended at around 2 pm.




73rd Republic Day

73rd Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2022 at 8.00 am both via online mode and offline mode. The program started with hoisting of National Flag by Principal Sir followed by National Anthem with band by students of Class IX and X. After that Jesita Jana of class IX lead the Swadesh Mantra. Tajaynnya Gogoi of class VIII did the anchoring. Principal Sir, Shri Guru Charan Das delivered a speech on the significance of the day and thanked all the students and teachers for their effort in these trying times of Covid 19 pandemic and its variants. In his speech he encouraged the students in contributing towards making a corruption free India. The motivating speech was followed by a group song by students. After that Namrata Bordoloi, a student of class VIII delivered a speech on Republic Day. The online program concluded here for students of classes KG to VIII but the students of classes IX and X performed Surya Namaskar as part of Surya Namaskar for Vitality programme under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. The offline celebration concluded with sweet distribution and prize distribution to the winners of different competitions for teachers and staff members throughout the session.





Shilpi Diwas

Shilpi Diwas was observed on 17th January 2020 where Dipak Sir spoke on the immense contribution of Jyotiprasad Agarwala towards Assamese literature and music. Three Jyoti Sangeets were performed by Punyalakhi didi, Emon didi and Ranjit Sir respectively.

Vivekananda Jayanti

 

 


Swamiji's Jayanti cum National Youth Day was celebrated on 12th January 2022 in the School Assembly hall at 9.30 am. Mayuranki Sonowal of Class X anchored the programme. The celebration commenced with a welcome song by Ranjit Sir and a group of students. Gita didi delivered a speech on the illustrious life and deeds of Swamiji, who is an inspiration for all. Classes KG to VII joined online while Classes VIII to X were physically present. Prize distribution event was then conducted for classes VIII, IX and X to felicitate and recognize the talents of the students in various fields like reading, writing, sports etc. After this, under the guidance of Dipak Sir, the students did Surya Namaskar which was followed by Pushpanjali of Swamiji and Aarti of  Bharatmata. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Punya Lakhi didi followed by sweet distribution.

Annual Sports

 Annual Sports Week was organised from 4th January 2022 to 6th January 2022.


Sports Day Concluding Ceremony was organised on 6th January 2022. The function began at 2 pm. Sri. Anupam Singha Baruah, an executive of NEEPCO Bokuloni was the chief guest. Anchita Baruah of Class VII was the anchor. The programme started with a group song performed by Class X students. After this, Principal Sir and the Chief Guest handed over the prizes to the winners of the VKGK Quiz Competition. It was followed by some cultural performances including a Tiwa dance, Group song and a Patriotic dance. The cultural programme concluded with Bharatmata Aarti by all present. Sri. Anupam Baruah congratulated the winners, players and the performers in his speech for their performances and emphasized on the essence of sports and games in our life. Thus the conclusion of Annual Sports Week was announced with the lowering of the Sports Flag and vote of thanks by Jyotsna didi followed by distribution of sweets.

Samartha Bharat Parva

On the occassion of Samartha Bharat Parva all the teachers and students offer Aarti after school hours. Everyday a teacher delivers a speech on the patriots of India during the morning assembly. Swadesh Mantra and Vande Mataram song led by a group of students are also performed in the morning assembly.

 



Kalpataru Divas

Kalpataru Divas was observed on 1st January during the morning assembly. Ranjit Sir along with some students performed a Ram bhajan and all the students followed from their respective classes. Sanjay Srivastav Sir delivered a speech on the importance of the day.

Matri Divas

Matri Divas was celebrated on 27th December. KG Mother parents were invited to the programme. A melodious Krishna bhajan was performed by teachers. Gita didi delivered a speech on Sharda Ma including some points from Nivedita Didi's letter. It was followed by a presentation and talk show on the contributions of Great Indian Women in different fields and how they have influenced our lives. Towards the end two games were arranged for the Mothers.

A Food Festival was also organized on the same day wherein all the lady teachers prepared different dishes. Four judges were chosen randomly from among the Mothers and Staff members. 

Kutumba Sammelan on Gita Jayanti

On 10th and 11th December 2020 Gita chanting competition was conducted for classes I to X. On 14th December a common programme was held after the morning assembly which included a speech on Karmayoga Shloka by Jyotsna Didi followed by Gita chanting by students. 


In the evening a common family function was held for the members of Amrit Parivar, VMC members. Prize winners of different competitions were also invited to the programme. Approximately 80 members attended the programme. The programme started with Mangalacharan and Gita chanting by teachers. Srivastav Sir presented a video on the teachings of Gita which was a valuable session. The last item was a game for both parents and students. Light refreshment was also provided.
