Rabindra Jayanti

On 9th May Rabindra Jayanti was observed to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The observation was clubbed together with the morning assembly. Two very informative and interactive speeches were delivered by Sabita Jana Didi in the senior assembly and Shabnam Kakoty Didi in primary assembly respectively. A melodious Rabindra Sangeet was rendered by a group of students.
Varsharambha
21st April marks the beginning of the new academic session 2023-24. Our Vidyalaya observed Varsharambha to welcome the young children to have a wonderous journey of imagination and learning. Both the assemblies (primary and secondary) started with saraswati vandana followed by a bhajan and a small speech. The students were very enthusiastic to join the new academic session with a new session.
Vidyarambh
Vidyarambh ceremony was held on 24th April for new Nursery & KG students. All students along with their parents attended the program. Smt. Mitali Goswami (President of Ladies Club, NEEPCO) and Smt. Mridusmita Phukan were invited as chief guest in the program. The program started with Mangalacharan followed by a Borgeet by Ranjit Domai Sir. Smt. Meghna Kakoty Didi, Principal VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni addressed the crowd with a short speech and highlighted the importance of Vidyarambh. Smt. Mitali Goswami inaugurated the new Nursery class and lighted diya inside the classroom followed by an inspiring speech on the importance of education. After her speech, the rituals of the ceremony began with students sitting on the teacher's lap, chanting and writing 'OM' on the rice plate. They were given honey and sweets. After the rituals, Smt. Mridusmita Phukan talked about parenting and psychology of the students in her speech. The program ended with shantipath.
