This Janmashtami on 26th August 2024, we commit ourselves to the noble act of Gau Sewa. By doing so, we can experience the joy and blessings that come from serving these sacred animals, just as Lord Krishna did.
On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, our Vidyalaya embraced the spirit of devotion and compassion through the noble act of Gau Sewa. This initiative not only celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna but also embodied his timeless teachings of love, humility, and service to all living beings. Under the guidance of our esteemed Principal, Smt. Meghna Kakoty, the entire school community came together to participate in this sacred occasion. Students, teachers, offered their care and support to the cows, symbolizing their respect for these sacred animals that hold a special place in our culture and tradition.
Following the assembly, the participants engaged in Gau
Sewa activities. They fed the cows with love and care, and ensured their
well-being. This act of kindness and service allowed the students to experience
firsthand joy and blessings that come
from serving and protecting all forms of life, just as Lord Krishna did during
his time on earth.
The day’s activities not only enriched the spiritual
understanding of the students but also instilled in them a renewed sense of
responsibility towards the environment and all living creatures. The experience
reinforced the values of empathy, compassion, and selfless service, which are
central to the teachings of Lord Krishna.
May our celebrations be filled with love, devotion, and a renewed sense of responsibility towards all forms of life.
Jai shree Krishna.
