National Mathematics Day

 VKV(NEEPCO) Bokuloni celebrated National Mathematics Day on 23rd December 2024 in school campus.

It started with lighting of lamp to pay tribute to great Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Students of classes 5 to 7 presented model exhibition on the topic' Math's in our daily life'. Class 9 prepared various mathematics activities like dart game, treasure hunt, ring toss and many more games for the students of classes 1 to 4 and teachers. Nearby schools were also invited.


All the students and teachers took part and practiced math's in various manner through activities, game and many more.

Parivar Sammelan on the occasion of Gita Jayanti

On 11th December 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya NEEPCO Bokuloni observed Gita Jayanti with great enthusiasm and devotion by organizing a Parivar Sammelan under the guidance of Principal Smt. Meghna Kakoty.

Morning Assembly Program

The celebration commenced during the morning assembly, where the students participated in chanting selected shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita. Their heartfelt recitation set a serene and spiritual tone for the day. Jyotsna Srivastava Didi, one of our senior teachers, addressed the students, emphasizing the significance of Gita Jayanti. She narrated an inspiring story that beautifully illustrated the relevance of the Bhagavad Gita's teachings in our daily lives, leaving the students deeply motivated.


Evening Parivar Sammelan Program

The evening Parivar Sammelan brought together students, parents, and staff to celebrate the occasion in a more comprehensive manner. The event was anchored by Sabnam Kotoky, who guided the proceedings with great enthusiasm. The program started with the auspicious Manglacharan, invoking blessings.

Smt. Meghna Kakoty, the Principal of VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni, and Jyotsna Srivastava Didi jointly unveiled the Sanskrit board, which added to the cultural and educational value of the event.


Highlights of the Evening Program

  1. Gita Chanting: Students of Classes V and VI, and class  VIII recited shlokas with remarkable coordination and devotion.
  2. Motivational Speech: By Jyotsna Srivastava Didi.
  3. Short Video Screening: A motivational video was screened for the audience, highlighting the timeless teachings of the Gita.
  4. Cultural Presentation: Students sang melodious songs dedicated to the Bhagavad Gita, enriching the atmosphere with devotion.
  5. Parent Interaction: A group discussion session was done which encouraged parents to share their perspectives on the topic "Importance of Bhagavad Gita in Our Daily Life."
  6. Outdoor Games: Fun outdoor activities i.e Kendra  Games were organized to engage participants and foster community bonding.

The program concluded with a collective Shanti Path, invoking peace and harmony. All attendees greatly appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in making the event meaningful and memorable.

Acknowledgment: The successful organization of this event was a result of collective efforts. Special thanks to the teachers, parents ,students and all supporting staff for their dedicated contributions.

This celebration not only reinforced the moral and spiritual teachings of the Bhagavad Gita but also strengthened the bond between students, parents, and teachers, reflecting the true essence of Parivar Sammelan.

Asom Divas

Observation of Asom Divas at VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni

On December 2, 2024, VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni observed Asom Divas during the morning assembly with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event commemorated the legacy of Swargadeo Sukapha, the founder of the Ahom dynasty, who laid the foundation of Assam’s rich cultural heritage.

The program began with a soulful rendition of a song dedicated to Sukapha by Aradhya Priyambada Pathak of Class IV, captivating everyone with her melodious voice. Following this, Richa Gogoi Didi delivered an insightful speech on the significance of Asom Divas. She beautifully highlighted the historical importance of Sukapha and the origin of the name "Assam," capturing the essence of unity and harmony he brought to the state.

A special focus was given to Sukapha’s contributions, with a visual emphasis on his portrait, adding a distinct charm to the event. The assembly concluded with a renewed sense of pride and appreciation for Assam’s glorious past.

This observance served as a meaningful opportunity for students and teachers to reflect on their cultural roots and celebrate the unity in diversity that defines Assam.
