On the occasion of Samartha Bharat Parva students of Class VII played different roles in various characters.


Educational Tours Organized by VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni.


VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni organized a series of educational tours for students of different classes with the aim of providing experiential learning beyond the classroom. The tours were designed to enhance students’ understanding of industry, environment, culture, and heritage, while encouraging observation and curiosity.

Class III students went on an educational tour to the Buddha Temple near the NEEPCO river, accompanied by Jyotsna Didi. The visit helped students learn about cultural values, serenity, and respect for nature.

Class IV students visited Digboi Park and Museum under the guidance of Sushila Didi and Papu Didi. The tour provided insights into local history, wildlife, and the heritage of Digboi.

Classes V, VI, and IX  visited the Namrup Petrochemical Plant and Power Plant under the guidance of Samar Sir, Gopen Sir, and smt.Mausami Didi. The students gained firsthand knowledge about industrial processes, energy production, and the functioning of large-scale plants.

Classes VII and VIII students visited  Hoolock Gibbon Park, Barekuri, Tinsukia ,guided by Banashree Didi Chandana Didi and Abhishek Sir. The visit enhanced students’ awareness of wildlife conservation and biodiversity, especially about the Hoolock gibbon, India’s only ape species.

These educational tours offered students meaningful learning experiences by connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world observation. The initiative reflected VKV Bokuloni’s commitment to holistic education and experiential learning.

Mehendi Designs & Handmade Bamboo Products Activity

A creative activity on Mehendi Art and Handmade Bamboo Products was conducted on 27/12/25 for the students of Class VI. The total number of students was 40, out of which 25 were boys and 15 were girls.

The activity was planned in such a way that girls participated in Mehendi Making & Designs, while boys were engaged in making handmade bamboo products. All the students took part actively and showed great interest and enthusiasm.

The Mehendi activity helped the girls to enhance their their creativity and artistic skills, whereas the bamboo product making encouraged the boys to learn about traditional crafts and develop practical skills.

Overall, the activity was informative, enjoyable and skill-based. It helped students to understand the importance of creativity, teamwork and traditional art forms.

Art Exhibition (Samartha Bharat Parva)

On the occasion of Samarth Bharat ParvaVKV NEEPCO Bokuloni organized a vibrant painting exhibition that showcased the creativity and artistic talent of its students. A total of 90 paintings, created by students of VKV Bokuloni, were displayed during the event. The exhibition aimed to nurture artistic expression among students while celebrating the spirit of a strong and self-reliant India.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Smt. Tilu Ering, Principal of Tiny Tots School, who appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue expressing their thoughts through art. The artworks reflected a wide range of themes highlighting India’s cultural heritage, environmental awareness, national pride, strength, and resilience.


Each painting stood as a testimony to the students’ imagination, creativity, and understanding of societal values. Visitors were deeply impressed by the clarity of thought, artistic skills, and meaningful messages conveyed through the artworks.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and appreciation from students, parents, teachers, and invited guests. It provided a valuable platform for young artists to showcase their talents, build confidence, and connect with the community.

Overall, the painting exhibition was a resounding success, effectively highlighting the creativity, talent, and potential of the students of VKV Bokuloni, while reinforcing the ideals of Samarth Bharat.

The Five Fingers on Bharat




On the occasion of Samarth Bharat Parva, a puppet show based on the Indian folk tale “The Five Fingers on Bharat” was presented in the Assembly Hall. The programme conveyed the message of unity, strength, and collective responsibility through an engaging and child-friendly narration.

Jewellery Making Activity on the occasion of Samartha Bharat Parva

On the occasion of Samartha Bharat Parva, a Jewellery Making Activity was successfully conducted for the students of Class VIII on 26/12/25.
All the students of the class actively participated in the activity. Both boys and girls showed equal enthusiasm and creativity. Students used simple materials to design beautiful and innovative jewellery items.
The activity helped the students to develop their creativity, fine motor skills and teamwork. It also encouraged self-expression and boosted their confidence.
Overall, the Jewellery Making Activity was interesting, enjoyable and educational for all the students.

Samarth Bharat Parva 2025 Observation

VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni commenced the observance of Samarth Bharat Parva 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The programme began with the chanting of Swadesh Mantra by students setting a reflective and inspiring tone for the event.

On the occasion, Sri Sanjay Srivastava Sir graced the programme with a thought-provoking and enlightening speech. In his address, he highlighted the vision of Samarth Bharat—a strong, self-reliant nation rooted in cultural values. He also spoke about Swami Vivekananda’s meditation at the Rock Memorial, explaining how it became a powerful source of inspiration for national awakening and inner strength.


A special highlight of the programme was the inauguration of an Activity Board titled “Sanskrit Vatika.”The board was inaugurated by Smt. Jyotsna Srivastava Didi and Sri Sudhir Kumar Sir. The Sanskrit Vatika beautifully reflects the ideals of Samarth Bharat, showcasing the richness of Sanskrit language, Indian wisdom, and cultural heritage. The day concluded with Bharat Mata Aarti.

National Mathematics Day Celebration at VKV Bokuloni.


VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni celebrated National Mathematics Day with enthusiasm and active student participation. On this occasion, students of Class VI prepared and presented a variety of interactive mathematical games making learning both joyful and engaging.


The games included memory games even and odd number games, and other arithmetic-based activities designed to enhance logical thinking and numerical skills. Students from Classes I to IX enthusiastically participated in these games, learning mathematical concepts through fun and hands-on experiences.


The celebration highlighted the importance of mathematics in daily life and encouraged students to develop a positive attitude towards the subject. The event successfully demonstrated that mathematics can be enjoyable, practical, and interactive, promoting curiosity and confidence among learners.

World Meditation Day Celebration at VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni

On the occasion of  World Meditation Day VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni organized a well-coordinated celebration in two  different locations, ensuring the involvement of students, staff, and local community members.


Meditation Session for Baalvatika II to Class II

A special meditation session was conducted for Baalvatika II to Class II, guided by Pransumoni Didi. The young participated with enthusiasm and discipline. Practicing meditation in the morning helps small children develop calmness, focus, and emotional balance. The serene and natural surroundings further contributed to stress reduction and relaxation, nurturing a peaceful and positive mindset among the children.


Mudras and Pranayama Practice (Chi Chia MV School)

A Mudras and Pranayama practice session was organized at Chi Chia MV School, guided by Samar Sir. A total of 76 students participated in this session, where they learned basic yogic practices that promote physical health, breathing awareness, and mental clarity.


In- School Session (Classes III to IX)

An in-school meditation and pranayama session was conducted for Classes III to IX  within the school premises. This session was jointly guided by Samar Sir and Pransumoni Didi. Students actively participated in meditation and pranayama practices and were sensitized to the importance of regular meditation, positive vibrations, and mental well-being in daily life.


Conclusion
The celebration of World Meditation Day at VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni successfully highlighted the importance of meditation and yogic practices for students of all age groups. The program helped reinforce values of inner calm, self-discipline, and holistic development, aligning with the vision of Vivekananda Kendra.

STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENTS & SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Gita Chanting Competition (Gita Jnana Yagna)

A Gita Chanting Competition (Gita Jnana Yagna) was held on 14th December 2025 at VKV Sivasagar, focusing on Chapter V of the Bhagavad Gita. A total of six participants took part in the competition. Sayanika Saikia, a student of Class VI, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni, secured the Consolation Prize in the Group C category, bringing pride and recognition to the school.



Achievement in Chess Tournament

In another notable achievement, Dimpol Protim Gogoi of Class V won the 3rd Prize in the Chaturanga Tournament organized by the 64 Square Chess Club, Duliajan. His achievement reflects dedication, strategic thinking, and competitive spirit.

Inauguration of Sanskrit Upavan Board

The Sanskrit Upavan Board was inaugurated during the morning assembly. The board was creatively prepared by the students of Class VIII under the guidance of Jyotsna Didi. The initiative aimed to promote interest in Sanskrit language and Indian cultural heritage among students.

Smt. Meghna Kakoty, Principal VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni inaugurated the board and felicitated the achievers by distributing prizes, trophies, and certificates to the winners and participants during the assembly.

The school congratulates all the students for their commendable achievements and appreciates the guidance and support of the teachers in nurturing holistic development.

Our Chess Star

MEDICAL CAMP ORGANIZED AT VKV (NEEPCO) BOKULONI

Date: 8th December 2025

Vivekananda Kendra Swasthya Seva Sadan (a service project of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari), in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni, organized a Medical Camp for all the students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff on 8th December 2025.


A team of medical experts conducted health check-ups, offered medical advice, and provided necessary medicines to the students and staff. The initiative aimed at promoting good health, early detection of common ailments, and spreading awareness about preventive care.


A special Health & Hygiene Interaction Session was also held, during which students asked questions regarding personal hygiene, seasonal illnesses, and healthy habits. The doctors discussed common illnesses, their symptoms, preventive measures, and simple home remedies for day-to-day health concerns.

The medical camp proved to be highly beneficial, creating awareness and encouraging students to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Asom Divas Celebration

Date: 2nd December 2025

Venue: Community Hall, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni.


VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni observed Asom Divas with reverence to mark the arrival of Chaolung Sukapha in 1228 A.D., the founder of the Ahom dynasty and architect of a united Assam.

Students of Class VII and VIII gathered in the Community Hall to celebrate the occasion. They delivered speeches highlighting the significance of the day, Sukapha’s leadership, and his contribution in establishing harmony among diverse communities.

The programme was beautifully led by Priyanka Didi, who delivered an insightful speech on the importance of Asom Divas and the values taught by Chaolung Sukapha—unity, peace, and good governance.

The programme concluded with Shanti Path, marking the end of the observance on a peaceful and reflective note.


Gita Jayanti & Parivaar Sammelan 2025

Date: 01 December 2025

Venue: Prayer Hall, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni

VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni celebrated Gita Jayanti along with Parivaar Sammelan with devotion, cultural warmth, and active participation from parents and students. The programme was beautifully anchored by Mrs. Dipika Gogoi Khanikar and Ms. Junmoni Saikia.

Parents were warmly welcomed with a traditional Aarti and Tilak ceremony, creating a spiritual and homely atmosphere. The programme began with Manglacharan.

Phase I – Students’ Presentation

In the first phase, students recited sacred Gita Shlokas with devotion and confidence.

  • Aradhya Panday of Balvatika II chanted the 5th Shloka of the Bhagavad Gita.
  • Anistha Chetiya (Class 6)
  • Sayanika Saikia (Class 6)

Their recitations reflected clarity, devotion, and deep respect for India’s spiritual heritage.

Phase II – Parents’ Session

The second phase of the programme was dedicated to enthusiastic parent participation, beginning once again with Manglacharan.

Highlights of the session:

  • Importance of Gita Jayanti was explained by Mr. Idul Gogoi, who emphasized the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita.
  • Gita Path and Gita Shloka chanting were performed by the parents’ group.
  • Prarthana was also led by the parent team.
  • A lively and cultural performance of Diha Naam added charm to the event.
  • A group discussion was conducted among parents, sharing thoughts on values, family bonding, and children’s holistic growth.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Dipika Gogoi Khanikar, expressing gratitude to parents, students, and staff for their active involvement.

Finally, the event ended on a serene note with Shanti Path.

NCC DAY 2025

VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni proudly celebrated NCC Day 2025 with discipline, enthusiasm, and patriotic spirit. To mark the occasion, the NCC troop of the school conducted an impressive march past during the morning assembly, showcasing their dedication, teamwork, and rigorous training.

Cadet Rijuman Dutta delivered an informative and inspiring speech highlighting the importance of NCC and its role in fostering leadership, character-building, discipline, and national service among the youth. The speech motivated the students and helped them understand the values upheld by the National Cadet Corps.

                              

After the formal command, the march past began, drawing everyone’s attention with its precision and coordination. As a gesture of respect and appreciation, the Principal Didi was felicitated with a traditional ‘Gamucha’ by the NCC troop.

The celebration not only honored NCC Day but also inspired students to imbibe values of duty, unity, and discipline.

LACHIT DIVAS

Date: 24 November

Lachit Divas, observed every year on November 24, commemorates the unparalleled courage and leadership of Lachit Borphukan, the legendary commander of the Ahom Kingdom who safeguarded Assam by defeating the Mughal forces in the historic Battle of Saraighat (1671).


At VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni, the day was observed with deep respect and enthusiasm. During the morning assembly, Priyanka Didi delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of the day. She spoke about the heroic life of Lachit Borphukan, emphasizing how his bravery, patriotism, and strategic excellence played a decisive role in resisting Mughal expansion.

After the assembly, a short programme was conducted in the prayer hall, attended by students of Classes 7, 8, and 9. Students presented speeches and poems showcasing the valor and leadership of Lachit Borphukan.

To further enhance understanding, a documentary video on his life and bravery was shown to the students. The visual presentation helped them connect deeply with Lachit Borphukan’s struggle, dedication, and sacrifice for the motherland.

The programme concluded with Śānti Pātha, offering prayers for peace and harmony.

6TH SHRIMANTA SANKARDEV NATYA SAMAROH 2025

Prize Distribution & Felicitation, 20th November 2025


The students of VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni enthusiastically participated in the 6th Shrimanta Sankardev Natya Samaroh 2025 and made the school proud by winning the prize for Best Stage Setting.

During the morning assembly, Smt. Meghna Katoky awarded the trophy, prizes, and certificates to all the participants for their outstanding performance and teamwork. A special speech of appreciation was delivered by Principal Didi, highlighting the hard work, creativity, and discipline shown by the students.

The school also felicitated Priyanka Didi, Ranjit Sir, and Lalit Ch. Dutta Sir, the drama guide, with a token of love for their relentless dedication, guidance, and efforts in training the students. Their support played a crucial role in achieving this remarkable success.

The entire VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni family celebrates this achievement with pride and joy.

Sadhana Diwas

A week-long observance of Maaneeya Eknathji Ranade Jayanti took place at VKV Bokuloni from 12th to 19th November. 

The event included a Swadhaya, focusing on the theme "Spiritualising Life," engaging not only VKV teachers but also educators from surrounding schools. 

The culmination of the event on 19th November featured students presentation drawing parallels between the life of Eknathji Ranade and the Kendra Prayer, highlighting Ranade's dedication and spiritual path.
 

Additionally, a Samkar Varga was conducted in nearby schools, where teachers from Bokuloni shared insights about Eknathji's life, emphasizing his significant contributions and core values. This event fostered a sense of unity and a deeper understanding of Eknathji's principles among both students and teachers, enriching their spiritual and educational journey. The observance effectively promoted Eknathji’s ideals and inspired many to imbibe his teachings in their everyday lives.
