VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni observed Asom Divas with reverence to mark the arrival of Chaolung Sukapha in 1228 A.D., the founder of the Ahom dynasty and architect of a united Assam.
Students of Class VII and VIII gathered in the Community Hall to celebrate the occasion. They delivered speeches highlighting the significance of the day, Sukapha’s leadership, and his contribution in establishing harmony among diverse communities.
The programme was beautifully led by Priyanka Didi, who delivered an insightful speech on the importance of Asom Divas and the values taught by Chaolung Sukapha—unity, peace, and good governance.
The programme concluded with Shanti Path, marking the end of the observance on a peaceful and reflective note.
