Date: 23rd January 2026
The celebration of Saraswati Puja on 23rd January held special significance this year, as it coincided with the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The day beautifully united the ideals of knowledge and courage, inspiring students and teachers alike.
On this auspicious occasion, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni
paid reverent homage to Goddess Saraswati, the divine source of knowledge,
wisdom, art, and learning. The programme began with Murti Pujan (idol worship),
performed with devotion and traditional rituals. The serene atmosphere of the
school campus reflected deep reverence as prayers were offered, seeking
blessings for wisdom, creativity, and academic excellence.
Simultaneously, the school commemorated Netaji Subhas
Chandra Bose Jayanti, remembering his extraordinary patriotism, courage, and
leadership. Students were enlightened about Netaji’s inspiring life and his
unwavering dedication to the freedom and unity of the nation.
After the completion of the puja rituals, Prasad
Vitran (distribution of prasad) was carried out among students, teachers, and
staff, fostering a spirit of togetherness and devotion.
The combined observance conveyed a profound
message—may wisdom guide our thoughts, and courage strengthen our actions. The
celebration truly reflected the values upheld by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya
in nurturing enlightened minds, disciplined character, and patriotic spirit.
