Utsarga Samaroh and Matri Puja

Date: 31st January 2026

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni solemnly observed Utsarga Samaroh and Matri Puja with deep devotion and reverence for motherhood. The programme was specially organized for the students of Class X, who participated along with their mothers, making the occasion spiritually uplifting and emotionally enriching.

The programme began with Manglacharan, setting a sacred atmosphere. This was followed by the Matri Puja ritual, symbolizing gratitude, respect, and reverence towards mothers. As part of the ritual, students washed the feet of their mothers and welcomed them with Tilakam, expressing humility, love, and devotion.

The puja was gracefully guided by Shri Sanjay Srivastava Sir, who initiated the ceremony with Ganesh Puja and then led the students step by step through the Matri Puja rituals. The students sought the blessings of their mothers, strengthening the emotional and spiritual bond between mother and child.

The programme concluded with the distribution of Prasad (Kheer) among all present and ended peacefully with Shanti Path, leaving everyone with a sense of gratitude, harmony, and inner fulfillment.

The Matri Puja celebration beautifully reflected the values upheld by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, nurturing respect for parents, cultural traditions, and moral values among students.
