A Sanskrit Workshop was conducted for the teachers of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, NEEPCO, Bokuloni, by Jyotsna Srivastava Didi with the objective of introducing the fundamentals of the Sanskrit language and promoting its effective use in the teaching-learning process. The session lasted for approximately 45–50 minutes and commenced with a melodious Sanskrit prayer, creating a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere.
During the workshop, Jyotsna Srivastava Didi gave a basic introduction to the Sanskrit language and explained essential concepts of Sanskrit grammar in a simple and engaging manner. The session was further enriched with an informative video presentation, which helped the participants understand the concepts more effectively.
To make the learning experience interactive, two practical activities were conducted. Participants greeted one another in Sanskrit using "Namaste" "नमो नमः" (Namo Namaḥ) and practised introducing themselves in Sanskrit through pair interactions. These activities encouraged active participation and boosted the teachers' confidence in using simple Sanskrit expressions in daily communication.
The workshop was highly informative, engaging, and enriching.
