6TH SHRIMANTA SANKARDEV NATYA SAMAROH 2025

Prize Distribution & Felicitation, 20th November 2025


The students of VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni enthusiastically participated in the 6th Shrimanta Sankardev Natya Samaroh 2025 and made the school proud by winning the prize for Best Stage Setting.

During the morning assembly, Smt. Meghna Katoky awarded the trophy, prizes, and certificates to all the participants for their outstanding performance and teamwork. A special speech of appreciation was delivered by Principal Didi, highlighting the hard work, creativity, and discipline shown by the students.

The school also felicitated Priyanka Didi, Ranjit Sir, and Lalit Ch. Dutta Sir, the drama guide, with a token of love for their relentless dedication, guidance, and efforts in training the students. Their support played a crucial role in achieving this remarkable success.

The entire VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni family celebrates this achievement with pride and joy.

Sadhana Diwas

A week-long observance of Maaneeya Eknathji Ranade Jayanti took place at VKV Bokuloni from 12th to 19th November. 

The event included a Swadhaya, focusing on the theme "Spiritualising Life," engaging not only VKV teachers but also educators from surrounding schools. 

The culmination of the event on 19th November featured students presentation drawing parallels between the life of Eknathji Ranade and the Kendra Prayer, highlighting Ranade's dedication and spiritual path.
 

Additionally, a Samkar Varga was conducted in nearby schools, where teachers from Bokuloni shared insights about Eknathji's life, emphasizing his significant contributions and core values. This event fostered a sense of unity and a deeper understanding of Eknathji's principles among both students and teachers, enriching their spiritual and educational journey. The observance effectively promoted Eknathji’s ideals and inspired many to imbibe his teachings in their everyday lives.

Ganit Prajna Samvardhan

On 17th November, VKV (NEEPCO), Bokuloni, held a school-level GPS program featuring special guest Shri Tikheswar Chetia, a retired Mathematics teacher from Chi Chia Bokuloni MV School. The event highlighted the importance of Mathematics in academics and everyday life. Shri Chetia delivered an insightful speech emphasizing the role of Mathematics as a foundational skill that fosters logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.


He engaged the students in an interactive session, introducing various short tricks and techniques for easier and quicker calculations. This segment of the program was particularly appreciated by the students, as it made complex problems more approachable and enjoyable.

To conclude the event, Shri Chetia handed over prizes and certificates to the GPP achievers for the academic year 2024-2025, celebrating their dedication and hard work. The event was a great success, inspiring young minds to delve deeper into the world of Mathematics with enthusiasm and confidence

53rd Birth Anniversary of Luit Kontho Zubeen Garg

VKV (NEEPCO) BOKULONI PAYS EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE TO ZUBEEN GARG ON HIS 53RD BIRTHDAY

On the 53rd birth anniversary of the legendary singer Zubeen Garg, VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni paid a heartfelt tribute to the iconic musician whose voice has touched millions. The observance began during the morning assembly, where Principal Smt. Meghna Katoky offered puspanjali in memory and honor of the beloved artist. She was followed by the staff members and all the students, who joined in offering flowers with deep respect and admiration.

To commemorate the occasion meaningfully, students of VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni planted ‘Nahor’ saplings in the school campus. The initiative symbolized growth, inspiration, and the continuation of Zubeen Garg’s cultural legacy. The plantation drive also encouraged students to contribute positively to the environment while remembering the contributions of a great son of Assam.

 

Birsa Munda Jayanti - Janajatya Gaurav Diwas

Janajatya Gaurav Diwas is a day( 15th November )dedicated to honouring the legacy of Birsa Munda, a prominent tribal leader and freedom fighter. Celebrated annually, it recognizes the contributions and cultural heritage of tribal communities in India. Birsa Munda, known for his role in the Indian independence movement, is remembered for his dedication to the rights and welfare of tribal people.


In celebration of this spirit, children from VKV Bokuloni undertook a study on the livelihood of the Chai Janajati community in Assam. This study provided insights into the traditional practices of tea cultivation, a crucial aspect of the community’s life. The students learned about the proficiency required in plucking tea leaves, the process of harvesting, and the cultural significance of tea production. This hands-on learning experience helped them appreciate the skills and hard work involved while fostering a deeper understanding of the Chai Janajati's way of life and their contributions to the tea industry.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

Children’s Day was celebrated at VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni with great joy, enthusiasm, and warmth. The day began with a special morning assembly conducted entirely by the teachers, as a gesture of love, care, and appreciation for the students. From the prayer to the thought for the day and Gita chanting, every segment of the assembly was gracefully presented by the teachers, making the children feel valued and cherished.


The main highlight of the occasion was the Samskar Varga, organized specially for Children’s Day, with more than 50 students from nearby schools including students of VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni enthusiastically participating. The session aimed to instill cultural values, discipline, and character-building among young learners through meaningful activities, devotional songs, and interactive discussions.


The celebration beautifully reflected the true spirit of Children’s Day honoring childhood, spreading happiness, nurturing values, and shaping responsible future citizens.

ECHOES OF PATRIOTISM :150th ANNIVERSARY OF VANDE MATARAM

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the "Vande Mataram" song, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni celebrated with great fervour. The event commenced with a spirited rendition of the song during the morning assembly. Students were also educated about the rich history and significance of the song through an engaging presentation. Demonstrating community spirit and cultural pride, VKV Bokuloni students reached out to neighbouring schools to teach their peers the national song.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation across three schools. At Chichia M. V. School, 197 students and 25 teachers joined in the chorus. Chichia Girls School saw an even larger gathering with 259 students and 26 teachers. VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni had the highest participation, contributing 496 students along with 30 teaching and non-teaching staff. In Total, 1,033 individuals came together to celebrate and honor the history of "Vande Mataram," creating a memorable and unifying experience.

Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Diwas

Observation of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Diwas

VKV NEEPCO Bokuloni observed Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Diwas with heartfelt reverence and enthusiasm at the NRC Hall. The programme began with Mangala Charan, setting a serene and respectful tone for the event.




Students from Classes II, III, IV, and V actively participated in poem recitation, Bhupendra Sangeet, and speech presentations, showcasing their admiration for the legendary music maestro. Their performances reflected the timeless influence of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s songs and his profound messages of unity, humanity, and compassion.

The programme was coordinated by Ranjit Sir, and the Principal, Smt. Meghna Katoky, graced the occasion with an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of Dr. Hazarika’s contributions to music, culture, and society.


All participants were awarded tokens of appreciation for their enthusiastic involvement. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes and Santipath, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of cultural pride and gratitude for the great artist.

Model United Nations 2025 at St. Xaviers School, Naharkatiya

Three students from VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni — Ridhim Bordoloi, Yuvraj Barman, and Akangsha Dutta of Class IX — proudly represented the school in SXMUN 2025, a Model United Nations conference organized by St. Xavier’s School, Naharkatiya.

The event provided a dynamic platform for young minds to engage in discussions, debates, and diplomacy, enhancing their confidence, communication, and leadership skills.

Among the participants, Akangsha Dutta achieved a remarkable milestone by being awarded the Best Delegate in the IPC Journalist Committee, showcasing her exceptional analytical and presentation abilities.

Certificates of participation and achievement were distributed during the morning assembly at VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni, where the school community applauded their commendable performance and spirit of learning.
